Salary switching

How to switch your salary

  • Complete the form
  • Information left out – you will be referred back to outstanding information
  • Click on “send”
  • You will receive a reference number on the screen once you have clicked on submit
  • Our Nedbank Contact Centre will call you between 8 and 4.30 pm on working days only
  • The Contact Centre Agent will guide you through final steps of switching your salary
  • Your letter to be handed to your employer will be sent to the e-mail address provided by you
  • There is no service fee to switch your salary
  • We do not share your information 

Tips

  • Check the company payroll date to see whether you can still request a switch for that month.
  • Ensure there are sufficient funds in both accounts until all your debits and credits are serviced from your Nedbank account.
  • Ensure that the name and surname on the salary switching form are the same as what appear on your company file.
  • Make sure your contact details are correct so that updates are received.
  • Go digital – keep track of your finances daily.
  • Opt for eNotes and receive notifications of debits and credits on your account.

Debit order switching

How to switch your debit orders

  • Complete the form with all the debit orders you select to be debited of your Nedbank account
  • Information left out during completion - you will be referred back to outstanding information
  • Click on “send”
  • You will receive a reference number on the screen once you have clicked on submit
  • Our Nedbank Contact Centre will call you between 8 and 4.30 pm on working days only
  • The Contact Centre Agent will guide you through final steps of your debit order switch request
  • There is no service fee to switch your debit orders
  • We do not share your information

 

 

 

Tips 

  • Ensure both accounts remain funded until all debit orders are deducted from your Nedbank account.
  • Allow sufficient turnaround time for debit orders to be switched - debit order switching requests made close to the debit order date will result in the debit order being deducted from the Nedbank account only from the following month.
  • Note that the amount and date of debit orders cannot change.
  • Ensure that your contact details are correct so that updates on the status of your debit orders are received.
  • Make sure that your name and surname are exactly the same as what the beneficiary has on file.
  • Note that new debit order requests cannot be added.
  • Make sure that any policy number required is the same as it appears on the policy document.
  • Go digital - keep track daily as your debit orders are switched.
  • Opt for eNotes and receive notifications of debits and credits on your account.
