Get ready for the occasion of the year! Join Nedbank in championing a #NewNobility at the sport of kings.
This year’s Nedbank International Polo is set to be one of the preeminent events on South Africa’s social calendar. As a bank who helps our customers to see
money differently, we are challenging you join the ‘New Nobility’ by taking a fresh perspective on what it means to be a part of the upper echelons of society.
Date: Saturday 14 September 2019
Time: 11:30 for 12:00
Venue: Inanda Club, Sandton
Dress: Pattern Perfect
This year’s theme is Pattern Perfect. Shweshwe, florals, stripes, geometric, colour blocking – it doesn't matter which pattern you prefer, dress to your best in your favourite regularly repeated design.
‘New Nobility’ is the belief that money has the infinite capacity to do good. The Nedbank International Polo not only provides a lifestyle experience but aligns with Nedbank’s brand purpose ‘money experts who do good’ by showcasing emerging entrepreneurs during the polo.
This year, the talented and highly skilled South African team will compete with New Zealand. This competitive rivalry dating back to 1972 will be the 7th occasion the two countries have duelled for the coveted title.
A world-class entertainment experience – decked with succulent food and drink as well as good music – all backdropped by beautiful people dressed to the nines for the prestigious equestrian event. Guests will be spoilt for choice, with various package options including general admission, polo picnic sites, the Tanqueray Gin Garden and corporate hospitality.
As a Nedbank or American Express client, you’re entitled to a 10% discount for picnic site tickets to the event. So get ready to kick back in style. Each site includes white picket fencing, chairs, a trestle table and a canvas umbrella. You can either pack your own basket or order a hamper from By Word of Mouth catering services. Only alcoholic beverages purchased onsite are permitted. To view these exclusive discounted rates click here.
