- It's a safe and simple way to confirm debit orders before they go off on your account.
- It minimises the risk of fraudulent or unauthorised debit orders going off on your account.
- Your once-off approval will remain in place for the duration of your debit order payment term.
Disputes and chargebacks related to unauthorised debit orders are now a thing of the past.
How does it work?
Nedbank will send you a request to confirm any new debit order information at the beginning of your service contract (eg a cellphone contract or a gym membership). This means that Nedbank will now know the details of what you have agreed to and will not allow your debit order to be processed outside the terms that you have confirmed. You can give authorisation in several ways, including the Money app or at your branch.
